Power Washing Services
Driveways, patios, roofs and more, brought back to life
Moss, algae, lichen, weeds in the joints and years of grime turn driveways, patios and roofs grey and green, make paving slippery in the wet and let the whole look of a property down. Branching Out provides power washing services for homes and businesses across Denbighshire, Flintshire, Conwy and Cheshire: driveway washing, patio and path cleaning, roof cleaning, decking, walls, fences and more. The transformation is usually dramatic.
We use professional pressure washing equipment with a rotary surface cleaner that lifts dirt evenly without the stripes and pitting a hire machine leaves, and we adjust the pressure to suit block paving, natural stone, concrete, tarmac, timber or roof tiles. Block paving is re-sanded afterwards to lock the blocks back in, roofs are cleared of moss and treated to slow regrowth, and we can apply a sealant or a moss and algae treatment to keep surfaces clean for longer.
It is a good job to combine with a hedge trim, garden tidy or gutter clear, and we offer a discount when it is booked alongside other work.

From first call to finished job
Simple, transparent and with no pressure at any stage.
Quick quote
A photo and a rough size are usually enough for a price. For roofs and bigger or commercial areas we will pop out and take a look.
Prepare
We clear the area, treat heavy moss and weeds, and protect doors, plants and anything we do not want wet.
Wash
The surface is cleaned evenly with a rotary surface cleaner and lance, edges and joints are detailed by hand and the dirty water is directed to the drain.
Finish and protect
Block paving is re-sanded once dry, gutters are cleared after roof work, sealant or treatment is applied if chosen, and everything is left clean and safe to use.
Why choose Branching Out for power washing
It is easy to damage paving or roof tiles with the wrong pressure, or to leave a surface looking patchy. Experience and the right equipment make the difference.
Right pressure, right tools
A rotary surface cleaner gives an even finish on paving, and we set the pressure for the material so soft stone, timber and roof tiles are not damaged.
Finished properly
Re-sanding, edging, gutters cleared and, if you want it, sealing and moss treatment, so the result lasts rather than greening over again by spring.
Combine and save
Book it with a hedge cut, garden tidy or gutter clear and we will price the visit as one job.
Power Washing Services across Denbighshire, Flintshire, Conwy and Cheshire
The damp, mild climate along the North Wales coast is perfect for moss and algae, which is why driveways, patios and north-facing roofs in Prestatyn, Rhyl, Kinmel Bay, Abergele, Colwyn Bay and Llandudno green over so quickly. Inland, in Denbigh, Ruthin, Mold and Holywell, it is often lichen and weeds in the joints that spoil the look.
We provide power washing services throughout Denbighshire, Flintshire, Conwy and Cheshire, and we also clean forecourts, car parks and paths for shops, holiday parks, pubs and offices, where a slippery green surface is a safety issue as well as an eyesore.

Not when it is done properly. We match the pressure and nozzle to the surface and use a surface cleaner rather than a bare lance on delicate materials. Very old, soft or already crumbling slabs can be affected by any cleaning, and we will tell you if we see a risk.
Yes. We remove moss and clean tiled and slate roofs using a pressure suited to the age and condition of the tiles, then apply a treatment to slow regrowth and clear the gutters. Older or fragile roofs are sometimes better cleaned by scraping and treatment alone, and we will advise honestly after looking at yours.
Once a year is ideal for most properties in North Wales, usually in spring so the paving looks good for summer. A sealant or moss treatment after washing can stretch that to every two years.
An outside tap is ideal. If there is no water on site we can bring our own, just let us know when booking. Our machine is petrol powered so we do not need mains electricity.
Block paving relies on sand in the joints to hold the blocks firm. Washing removes some of it, so we brush kiln-dried sand back in once the surface is dry. Without it the blocks can move and weeds get in faster.
